The Monaco story began in 1969, when Heuer challenged convention by introducing one of the world’s first automatic chronographs in a bold square, water-resistant case. Just two years later, its place in motorsport history was secured when Steve McQueen famously wore a Monaco throughout the 1971 film Le Mans, forever linking the watch with the golden era of endurance racing.

This CAW2111 perfectly captures the character of the original while benefiting from modern refinement. Crafted from stainless steel, the unmistakable 39mm square case houses a vibrant blue dial with contrasting chronograph sub-dials and subtle red detailing, creating the classic Monaco look that has remained instantly recognisable for more than half a century.
