The GT6 has always been one of Triumph’s most distinctive sports cars, combining compact proportions and fastback styling with the character of a 2.0-litre straight-six engine. The Mk3 introduced revised styling with a redesigned bonnet and squared-off rear, giving the GT6 the purposeful shape that remains instantly recognisable today.

This example has been the subject of an extensive restoration, including a bare-metal repaint and complete engine rebuild with an unleaded cylinder head conversion. Since the restoration, the car has covered approximately 19,000 miles and has been maintained to an excellent standard.

Its 1,998cc straight-six is paired with a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive, making this a particularly appealing GT6 for longer journeys as well as a winding country road. In period specification, the GT6 offered around 104 bhp and a top speed of approximately 112 mph.

The car is finished in paint code 64 Mimosa Yellow, complemented beautifully by its black interior. Its Diamond-cut Cosmic alloy wheels have recently been refurbished and fitted with brand-new tyres, while the paintwork and chrome present extremely well.

The GT6 comes with an extensive history file and an A4 box file packed with maintenance and parts invoices, along with its Heritage Certificate, owner’s handbook, dyno printout and old MOT certificates.
